Pastoral care

We are involved in responding to the various needs of individuals in hospitals, prisons and our local communities and parishes.

The rights and dignity of women

We are committed to recognising the challenges facing women in our society and working together to meet them with courage and dignity.

Spirituality

Many of us are involved in Spiritual Direction and giving retreats, both in Retreat Houses and from our home base. By listening prayerfully to individual women and men, to the ups and downs of their daily lives, to the ways that each person prays and lives out their Christian faith, we encourage each one in their search for God.

Counselling

In these times of natural world disasters, wars and the ever-increasing break-up of families, many people need to be supported in their difficulties. We offer such support by professional counselling and help.

Refugees

We welcome into our midst families who have escaped persecution by teaching them English and helping them to settle.
